The Apple iPhone OS 4

When iPhone was released 3 years ago, the only thing that this device doesn't have is the multitasking.

And finally, Apple released the Iphone OS 4. Steve Jobs explained how multitasking works, the tapping on the home button twice. When double-clicking it will bring up a tray displaying all the running application on your iPhone.

Seven special tasks are allowed, they are background audio, voice over IP, background notifications, push notifications, local notifications, task completion and fast app switching.

Iphone OS 4 will be available on June for iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 3rd gen.
